Team purchasing restrictions
If you are the team owner or administrator, you can set restrictions to prevent unintentional or unauthorized purchases from your Canva for Work account.
Ensure you are doing this on a desktop browser as team features are not yet accessible from the mobile apps.
To allow a specific user role to purchase paid elements:
- Click on your profile name from the top of the homepage side panel.
- Select Account settings from the menu.
- Click on the Billing & Teams tab.
- Under Team purchasing restrictions, click the User role dropdown.
- Choose which user role setup you prefer for your team.
- Click on Save changes once done.
An email notification will be sent to the team owner and billing contacts every time a purchase is made.
