Share your designs with others

Ready to share your designs with others? While there are several ways to share your Canva designs, this guide will discuss sharing to social media and through email.

Share to social media

Sharing your designs on social media platforms ensures that they reach a wider audience. Canva’s desktop sharing feature allows you to share your designs as an image to your Twitter, Facebook, and other social media pages directly, instead of sharing a link to your design.

If you wish to share your designs to other social media platforms like Instagram and others, you can still do so by saving the design to your computer or device first.

To know more about sharing your Canva designs on social media, head over to our Share to social media category.

note: If you wish to upload your designs to Instagram or other apps that only allow mobile app uploads, using Canva’s iPhone or Android apps can make the process easier.

Share through email

You can also share your designs over email. We make it easy to share your design with anyone who has an email address since there’s no need to attach or upload anything. Simply click on the Share or Collaborate button from the status bar on the editor to open this prompt.

After processing your design, the people whose email addresses you entered will receive an email from Canva in their inbox together with a link to check out your design. If they have a Canva account, they’ll be able to like and comment on your design.

To learn more, head over to Sharing via email.
