Approve or give feedback to designs

Canva for Enterprise users can enable design approval as part of Brand control. Members can then choose any administrator or template designer from their team to review their designs for publishing.

When you’re a selected approver, here’s how you can review designs:

  1. From the design approval email, click the Review button to be taken to the design.
  2. Review its content and check if it is on-brand. You can leave comments if you want.
  3. Once done, click Review from the upper corner of the editor:
  • If it’s ready for publishing, click Approve.
  • If edits are needed, type your comments or notes in the Feedback message field, and click Give feedback. The requester will be notified via email.


Note that if design approval is required, the following rules apply:

  • Members cannot publish designs unless they have been approved.
  • Editing approved designs will require new approval before they can be published.
