Aligning elements in your design

Every design needs balance. Ensuring that your designs is well aligned or well distributed means that it won’t look cluttered or crowded.

To align elements in Canva, you must first group them together:

  1. Select the elements you would like to align by clicking on it.
  2. Click Group.
  3. Once all the elements are grouped, click on the Arrange button.
  4. To arrange the elements inside the group, click the corresponding button to Align to:
  • Left
  • Center
  • Right
  • Top
  • Middle
  • Bottom

5. To set how you want the elements spaced evenly, click on the Horizontal or Vertical button.
