Canva also has multi-page layouts for those design types which commonly run over many pages, such as presentations.

To add a multi-page layout:

  1. Click on the Layouts tab in your object panel.
  2. Browse through the options provided. Once you’ve found a layout you like, click on it to bring up all of the pages in the layout.
  3. Click on the page you wish to add to your design.
  4. Add a new page to your design.
  5. Add the second page of the layout.
  6. Repeat until you have added all of the layout pages you wish to have in your design.

note: Trying to look for the template that best fits your needs? Head over to our Templates page. You’ll be able to find the different types of layouts available – from business cards to report cards. Hover over a design you like and click Edit this template to work with it.

Removing a layout

Had a change of heart about a layout? You can change a layout by clicking on the Layouts tab within your object panel and selecting a new one you’d like to work with.

note: A “Replace page content” warning will appear if you’ve made any changes on your page before clicking on a new layout. This is because changing layouts will delete any progress you’ve made on a previous layout.

Alternatively, if you wish to completely delete a layout:

  1. Select all of the elements in your layout.
  2. Click on the Trash icon displayed in the editor toolbar at the top the screen.

note: To know about using layouts in your iOS devices, you can head over to Creating a new design (iPhone) or Creating a new design (iPad).
