Font file format

For a font to be compatible with Canva for Work, it must be in one of the following formats:

  • Open Type Font (.otf )
  • True Type Font (.ttf)
  • Web Open Font Format (.woff)

Any font you’ve purchased online will come in one of these 3 formats. You can tell what format your font follows by looking at its suffix. Open Type Fonts will be followed by the suffix .otf, True Type Fonts will be followed by the suffix .ttf, and fonts that follow the Web Open Font format will be followed by the suffix .woff.

Maximum number of fonts

Currently, you can upload a maximum of 25 fonts. If you choose to delete any of your uploaded fonts on Canva for Work, designs created with the deleted font will still feature it.
