Magic Resize

One of our favorite features of Canva For Work is the magic resize. It allows you to take a template or design created using specific measurements and seamlessly adapt it to a different set of measurements.

In other words, if you’ve created a post for Facebook and want to use it as a slide in a presentation, you can use the magic resize feature to do it with just a few clicks.

To resize a design using magic resize:

  1. Pop open the design you wish to resize.
  2. Click on the File tab at the top of your dashboard.
  3. Select Magic Resize.
  4. Click on the checkbox next to the design type(s) you wish to resize your design to.
  5. Click on the green Abracadabra-Resize! button.

Your new designs will pop open in new, separate tabs. Be sure to have pop ups enabled for Canva for Work.

note: Magic resize will create and save each dimensions as a new design. If you wish to resize an existing design into a specific dimension, use Custom Dimensions.
