Something's not working

Add/Remove credit card

Adding a credit card to your Canva account will allow you to purchase licenses for premium elements, order a print product through Canva Print, or upgrade your account to Canva for Work.

note: Canva accepts credit cards on Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover.

Add a new card


To add a new card:

  1. Click on the arrow next to your name on the homepage to bring up a dropdown box.
  2. Click on Account Settings.
  3. Go the Billing and Teams tab.
  4. On the Billing and Teams tab, click on Add a credit card. This is only visible only of no card is stored.
  5. Enter the card number, its expiry date and the CVC.
  6. Click OK to save the details.

note: If no credit card has been registered for your account yet, you can also add one during the purchase prompt when downloading designs with premium elements or when upgrading to a Canva for Work account.

The card that is currently stored in your account will become the default card for all Canva related purchases. For Canva for Work teams, members can use the stored card for purchases. As owner or administrator, you can restrict who can use the card. For more information, see Team purchasing restrictions.

Change existing card details


If you find the need to change your registered credit card details, you can follow these steps:

  1. From the Billing & Teams tab under the Accounts Settings page, click on the green Change button.
  2. Click on the fields and type in the new details to change their information.
  3. Click Save.

note: The Account Settings page is the only place when you can change your credit card details. You won’t be able to change the credit card details during payment or ordering process.

Remove credit card


To delete stored credit card information:

  1. Access the Billing & Teams tab from the Accounts Settings page.
  2. Click on Remove from the Credit Card section.

note: Removing a credit card from an account doesn’t automatically cancel a Canva for Work subscription. If you wish to end your Canva for Work subscription, please follow the steps here: Cancel your Canva for Work subscription.
